Ghost Writers

In the hopes that the story is still being written in some ethereal productive place...

We all have our things, our dearest projects that consume our minds and fill our hearts with great purpose. When I painted this, I was thinking about the book I've been writing, but there are so many amazing things in the works everywhere --- music being composed, businesses starting, inventions being invented, and so on. I can almost smell the hyper-focus on a person with a dream. It smells like sweet flowers in bloom and it's intoxicating. I cheer everyone who wears this perfume, they're in the moment and makin' it happen.

Sometimes though, even with the best intentions to complete a masterpiece, Life pulls us in other directions, and things get put in that dark file box labeled 'later'. If the project was formerly a bright shiny light each day, the absence can feel pretty gloomy. So for hope's sake, I'd like to propose this idea --- if passions are truly rooted in our hearts, maybe they don't stop with the temporary absence of our hands. Our minds can do a lot more than we think, and the big blue-green Universe has many helpers --- typing birds, friends, opportunities, who knows? Maybe there are other hands at play. Nature has it's way.
